AWESOME atmosphere with great variety of authentic Mexican food. Got the quesadillas and wasn’t disappointed. Limited sauce but they pack a punch! Love servers attitude and she was very friendly. Only wish she knew a bit of English for better communication but other than that- will come back for more tacos!

I had a nice experience here. Taqueria Mexico Tennessee has a very friendly, helpful staff, and they run a clean, efficient restaurant I had the Coctel de Camaron to start and it was fantastic. I would go back just for that. For the main course, I had an el pastor Gordita, and two chorizo tacos, which I thoroughly enjoyed. They come with some cooked jalapeños and onions on the side, which I love. I also really like the green sauce here, as it’s very spicy, the way I like it.

An excellent find real Mexican food in Nashville is amazing. Natalie was great. She was very patient and helpful with me. She even ran after me because I left my cell phone on the table by accident. She is awesome. My favorite taco meat was AlPastor. I tried three tacos one out pastor one Carnitas and one was beef Then I got this giant thing that looked kind of like a quesadilla but it had beans and lettuce and some other stuff. It was really really excellent and I’ve never had anything like it in my life and I’ve grown up eating Mexican food. I decided to try this place because it had over 300 reviews the most reviews and it didn’t have the word taco in the name . With the popularity of tacos there’s so many places with taco in the name and they’re not real Mexican food. This place in my opinion is real great Mexican food.

Looking at these reviews and I see everyone slamming the wait staff. It’s an authentic Mexican restaurant in the middle of a large Latino community and the staff doesn’t speak English. Use your Google translate of use the great pictures that are on the menu. There are ways to communicate with the staff without stressing them or yourself. Get past the ordering and the food is delicious. I enjoy the festive, colorful atmosphere and the music is great. They have tv’s so you won’t miss the football game. The bar is nice and they have your choice of beers. My granddaughter Lily ordered the quesadillas as usual. My daughter had the Carne Asada and I ordered Tortes Pollo. The food came fast , hot and plenty of it. It was all delicious. I recommend Taqueria Mexico!

Im really glad we tried this spot! I got the mixtas fajitas and my husband got the chicken plate.. The grilled onions and peppers were very flavorful, shrimp cooked just right! Their homemade corn tortillas were larger than usual and very tasty. The rice and beans were fresh. Overall, a delicious meal. I enjoyed the watermelon juice drink, too. Highly recommend this spot. If they don't understand what you're saying the first time, keep trying, and don't underestimate the value of hand gestures! it's definitely worth the effort you might put into communicating.
